GaryR It's all pvc pipe fittings from Lowes. For the manifold I cut a hole in a coupling with a cheap hole saw, and turned down a pipe cap to fit. Cost, about $6. At this price, I'll have a feet of 'em. GaryR

Gary, I have been resurching Tank car's for about six mounth's now soooo depeanding on the size piping you used, you have a 10,000 gal, 8,000gal or 6,500 gal in 1/29.1/24 or 1/20.3 scale also the lenth of the frame is about 6 footlonger the the tank this is the sight for most of my resurch

The head is gray, hands don't work , back is weak, legs give out, eyes are gone, money go's and my wife still love's Me.
Haven't as far as mounting the couplers. Likely under the lil platform seen at the end of a lot of tank cars. I'll get pics while I build the next one. Using the hole saw sounds simple, but yes, there is a fixture that makes it a lot easyer to get it square and centered. With luck, tomorrow.
