Flickr doesn''t like direct links. You'll have to copy & paste these.

The V fixture is available at littlemachineshop.com

I best advise would be to start collecting a workshop, not just a few trains.

 Tank Car

It's all pvc pipe fittings from Lowes. For the manifold I cut a hole in a coupling with a cheap hole saw, and turned down a pipe cap to fit. Cost, about $6. At this price, I'll have a feet of 'em.

Haven't as far as mounting the couplers. Likely under the lil platform seen at the end of a lot of tank cars.  I'll get pics while I build the next one. Using the hole saw sounds simple, but yes, there is a fixture that makes it a lot easyer to get it square and centered. With luck, tomorrow.

Very creative! How are you going to mount the couplers on or show a picture of what you did. - Peter
