It's all pvc pipe fittings from Lowes. For the manifold I cut a hole in a coupling with a cheap hole saw, and turned down a pipe cap to fit. Cost, about $6. At this price, I'll have a feet of 'em.

Haven't as far as mounting the couplers. Likely under the lil platform seen at the end of a lot of tank cars. I'll get pics while I build the next one. Using the hole saw sounds simple, but yes, there is a fixture that makes it a lot easyer to get it square and centered. With luck, tomorrow.

Gary, I have been resurching Tank car's for about six mounth's now soooo depeanding on the size piping you used, you have a 10,000 gal, 8,000gal or 6,500 gal in 1/29.1/24 or 1/20.3 scale also the lenth of the frame is about 6 footlonger the the tank this is the sight for most of my resurch
