I've got one of the Michael's cabooses, and it looks closer to 16mm or 7/8ths scale. But the proportions are so cute that I bought it anyway, and plan on scaling it down and building one in (approximately) 1:24...

Or stained and varnished behind a whimsical engine on the layout, have to keep an eye out for this one
