Now I'm on a kick to make a set out of my lone 2379 AB's. They are Very Good to Excellent depending on the lighting in the room - definate runners. I already have a good 6657 Rio Grande caboose and an OK long stripe blue tank 3350 GM car (not sure that is the correct configuration for the 1957 set) - should I recreate the 1957 or 1958 set? Or should I build a dream late 50's set with rare but runnable rolling stock? I can't wait to have this one run along side my new 682 - I can smell that fine ozone and warm grease now!

The 2379 F3's are from 1957 & 58, the caboose 6657 is from the same time. You can do what you want because it is your set but keeping with 1950's rolling stock would be a good idea to me. Do the 2379's have single or double motors in them?

And the last F-3 roadname introduced during the postwar era.
