I like the side gear. But I guess it's kinda fragile for kids to play with. That's why so many are broken off. The MTH S2 has a pretty nice side gear (on the one that has it) and so do the two Lionel scale S2s. I don't have a Williams S2 (yet). I plan on one for the future though. Thumbs Up [tup]

I wish Williams would make a repro of the Lionel 682. I bet it would sell like hotcakes. Most folks can't afford a really nice Lionel 682, and those that can don't really run them much because of collector value.

DOH!!! Laugh [(-D]

I got vulched on my B-unit for my Century Club F3 combo. DRAT! I bid at the suggested price in Greenberg, and then went to church. Got home and the guy outbid me by $2.50. Guess the man upstairs had a reason for me to not get it Smile [:)]

Jim: The vultures are already circling. I expect it to sell for around $250...maybe more. And that's WITHOUT the linkage!!! Shock [:O]

It's missing the oiler linkage but appears to have the holes drilled for it.  Linkage is pretty cheap and readily available, so it would be a snap to replace it.
