The Baltimore, Ohio and Wabash Railroads are proud to announce that we are now hauling grits from our mill in Roger's Corners, Ohio to Roseyville, NC.
This is a tremendous opportunity for the BO&W to increase its profits this year. Capital improvements are forthcoming ASAP.

Hope those grit haulers make it back alive!
In the meantime, the Amish Carpenter says "Grits?", as he surveys the layout:
Made some major progress in getting the North wall section to the point where I can position the main level benchwork. With this done, I can now start building the platform which will hold the reversing loop:
Waiting on the #60:
Here it comes now:
Got the road installed here coming out of the tunnel and installed a light, although it is not quite bright enough:
Nothing like The Mercurys Tom !! Really nice !!
Buckeye's got a real money maker there !! They'll be screaming for more gritts loads in Roseyville !!
Here's my latest flatcar load of steel I made yesterday ! Now making some for gondolas !
Thanks, John

Let's hope Buckeye has all his HAZMAT papers in order, otherwise it's illegal to transport Grits across state lines. Might have to blow the whistle on him to Al Gore! Not to mention the SPCA...what kind of sicko would feed his pet GRITS?

I don't see anything stolen in this one Marty - and it's a keeper!:

NewbieLady wrote:Uh-oh, there's a bit of commotion on Main Street today. Once again the peacefulness of a quiet Sunday morning has been shattered by a careless driver. "But Officer, I just TAPPED his bumper."
NewbieLady - Welcome to the Sunday photo fun, very nice scene!
MartyE wrote:I gotta admit when Frank started I was thinking to myself...What the heck is this guy doing? Man it has evolved and is an awsome display of modeling. Everytime Frank posts I see things that I steal er I mean like. I envy his patience. I would of nailed down loops of track by now. I'm still in awe of the celing tile mountain cliffs and the background buildings.
Me Too - Very nice work Frank!
Some new additions to the layout.....
Thanks Tom
NewbieLady - you have made an excellent choice for your figures - the Artistta figures are the best - nice layout.
Got the basis of this platform jimmied up to see how the fit will be.
This is the effect I was looking for, the industries in the background and the crane in the foreground:
@Frank, nice progress!
This week no photo's, but a small movie I made from the layout.

Nice photo's all! Love the bike shop!
Thanks for posting the pic, Marty! I sure appreciate that! I'll try again as you suggest with another view.
Wonderful photos everyone. Somebody throw a bucket of water on those 2 in the back seat of Tom's '41 Lincoln Continental. Looks like Frank will soon be able to get his trains off the shelf and onto a proper layout
Colin, I'll try getting some shots of the Torpedo. My photos skills are as terrible as the lighting in the room, though it seems I can get detailed shots of layout dust perfectly.
