Hi,
I had the same problem on an MTH Berkshire that I converted to TMCC I was advised to add a nonpolarized cap. This fixed the problem and one year latter its still working correctly

Thanks for the info Marty, I'll try as you suggest.
I concur with Marty's fix, I've had to do this on two engines that've passed through my hands. Make sure you use NON-POLARIZED. A polarized capacitor can/will explode.
I seem to have developed a problem with the electro coupler on my Lionel 38055 Santa Fe Northern. Whenever it passes over a switch the coupler opens! I've tried re-setting the locomotive in program mode - entering the loco number "74" in this case, everything seems to set correctly but the problem persists. Living in the UK it's not too easy getting to a dealer so just wondered if any one had any suggestions.
