Partly sunny and low 90's today. Nice!
Spent the weekend with about 40 friends and neighbors. Had a great time and many adult beverages consumed. Taking it easy today.

I also was okay with the races yesterday but hate the adds run all over them.
Dennis. Glad your okay and sorry about the car,,,at waht age does CA make you take a test every time you need a new license? I think here it is 74 or 76 if you have any tickets or wrecks.
Another day of rain, strong storms and tornados here. Tornados, floods and all kinds of problems over half of the country on a weekend all Americans should be here enjoying and thanking those who have allowed us to have this weekend. A weekend where all of our leaders should all be here to support and up lift those in need not out of the country watching sumo wrestlers. JMHO

Happy Memorial Day, got the flag up, and the sun is even shining. I think this is one of the coldest Memorial Days I can recall. It is only in the 60's, but at least no rain.
Watched Indy yesterday really enjoyed the race. Taped the Charlotte race, watching it this morning.
The "Dry Bar", I had in my train room, got moved to Chris's apartment, so I rearranged some stuff to fill the void. Think it will be fine, just a little less storage room.
Thanks again for the prayers and thoughts, everyone seems to be coping very well.
Took a drive yesterday and it was really awesome as we passed a couple of cemetarys and saw all the flags marking the graves! Then Saturday morning local television was showing various scouting and youth groups placing the flags and saluting each placement as they went thru. What a great teaching moment!!

This tree frog is fat and happy with this wet weather. At least he is enjoying the new deck.
Hot and humid. May set a record high today. Watering as going to Tybee Island GA. Daughter baby sitting. The following weekend, I baby sit for her and SIL.

quick check in after breakfast.
Yesterday I built a couple of flower boxes and spent a few hours helping son replace some fence posts in the pasture before the rains came. It was time to go to the graduation party any way.A good time there.
Not sure what the rest of the day will bring. Going to fill the flower boxes for Mrs. then either cut grass or work on fence if son shows.
Beach boys tonight.

Been awhile, as you can guess things have been crazy.
I really appreciate Chief keeping everyone updated, and also the emails, prayers, and comments that everyone has shared. It is really appreciated!
Kay's dad has really gone through a lot this past 6 months or so! He is finally at peace, at that is such a blessing. He was 92 definetly had a full life. His wife is 88 and has some memory issues, but in pretty good health. So far she has handled this all pretty well, but its still early. Kay has really risen to the requirements, seeing to her dad, accomodating her mom's needs, and being the center point for her family. Truly strong. Hopefully will be able to get some relaxation and enjoyment for her soon.
I know there have been many other things going on with everyone, and I hope it is all working out. I havent seen where anyone here has been affected by floods and tornadoes, thankfully. So hope that continues.
Kay has relation arriving from Milwaukee today and as tomorrow is Chris' birthday, I've got to go shopping quick.
So again Thank You all for all the kind thoughts and prayers, it really means a lot.

Mornin' boys. Sunny & 60 along the Patterson Creek cut-off. Spent the last 2 days in the "free" state, first to requalify to carry, then to work on the yatchett (which I found to be very, very dirty). Going to try and sell it for cheap (under 5K), so here is your chance Doug!
Did get to spend some quality time with great friends in Stewartstown, as well as see my partner at the range. Going to lay low today.

Semi busy day at work. Got yard mowed. Set 30 inch mower at highest level and had no difficulties. Does it look as good as regular height? No. Do I care? No. Older daughter and grandkids were here for a visit. Wife took a nasty spill as they were leaving and had to go to dentist to have teeth checked. Teeth look to be ok for now, but she is also covered in bruises from the fall. Weather looks really bad for Sunday. I hope everyone has a good day.

Yes, Kay's Dad passed. Burial will be mid June as Military cemetery backed up with burials.
Sun without more rain till tomorrow. 70s today.
Just checking in. Got plants for the veggie garden but still not planted. I might try today depending if the ground can be turned over.

There is a beautiful sunrise this morning. My bride is on her way to Cincinnati airport to drop the kids off to go to Florida. After that she will spend some time with a college friend who lives in Cincy. So when I get home from work I’ll have a quiet house. Just me and the dogs.
Don - From Buckeye’s post I assume Kay’s Dad passed away; may God have mercy on his soul. You and Kay have taken very good care of him, and now all of you may rest.

Back injections this afternoon seem to be doing fine. I had never had them. Following instruction sheets and resting. I felt a slight pinch for the deadening. Then pressure [I guess when injecting back] a few times. Got up and came home by way of Fire house Food for a couple of hotdogs. So far so good.
Good day at work. Got progress done on an ongoing project. Warm weather for a walk. Picked up 30 inch mower from shop. Watched Izombie. Odd episode. Still not sure how the series will end. Hopefully better than Game of Thrones. I hope everyone has a good day.

Partly sunny and humid. For once no storms for Memorial Day weekend. Should be reasonably pleasant.
Still taking it easy. The party weekend with the sister and BIL did not do me any favors for the recovery from that virus last week. Lack of restful sleep is the issue. We are in a pollen and mold spores storm here due to the very wet spring and winter. Nose/sinuses are a model of Niagara Falls....
Aloha. More rain overnight but it did get to 81 downtown. Low 70s and sun today - hurray! I didn't know you need a passport to go to Menards...

Won our first match of the season 3-2. Did not have to play the entire game as we had subs. Wife and I went to Captain D's afterwards and then got some birthday presents for 2 of the grandsons. Correct Doug!! Another .8" last night don't even want to guess how much rain we have had in the last month? Good thing is it is 25 degrees warmer than yesterday.
Renewed my Passport yesterday and we are getting one for Sandra this afternoon. Now to get the kids to take us on a trip abroad.
Then a trip to Menards for some garden things if we can ever get into the yard and garden areas? Same problem as SJ is having.
Another morning of rain. Temp might go to 70 if the clouds clear out. Ground is too wet for digging a garden.
