Think I was leaning towards the postwar. You guys sealed the deal! Thanks!
ADCX Rob As cantankerous as the postwar versions are, you can always get them to work. The modern versions may work OK for a while, but as soon as the electronic controls are wiped out, and they will always eventually fail, they are useless and relegated to display only status.

I agree with Rob. I had the modern culvert loader and unloader as soon as both were released back around 1999-2000.
The loader was garbage; I went through three that had various failures. Most were due to various sensors and the rubber roller that propelled the claw. The unloader was better, but not great.
I dumped both and bought a postwar 342 loader and 345 unloader. They were a bit fussy to tune, but now they work great.

I resisted buying a culvert loader and unloader for years, but finally I think I might go ahead and purchase them.
I know the post-war version and the reissue tend to be picky. Especially the unloader. For those of you who have experience with them, which would you recommend? The post-war or the reissue?
