Hello there, Chief musta forgot it's the 1st.
Another rainy day Watching 2 littlest grandkids this PM/evening. Mom has a wedding. May take them to see other grandaughter in a parade.
Kev.......I was 120 pounds at HS graduation. Got married 2 years later and a slow steady rise began. Been up and down a few lb's the last couple of years but pretty steady at 250 lately. Great old pictures.
best get on with the day
Prayers for those in need.

Morning,
So much for the tractor show in Pontiac today. Raining here and I called Jim our neighbor who is down there and he said they musta got 2" or better overnight and the place is a swamp. He said I would need every bit of the 4x4 to get into and out of the parking area. Oh well!
So don't know what we will do today. Pay bills I guess.
Rich, I tried all my life to gain weight, now I would like to shed about 30#. Felt my best at 160# If I could shave off my beer gut I would be there.

Good evening all,
Terrible practice for Foyt team. Basically dead last. Had good practice with junior high kids. Wife and I did puzzle. Work was quiet. Weather warming up. Have to mow tomorrow morning. Got CTT. I hope everyone has a good day.
Keep on training,
Mike C. from Indiana
MartyE Morning. LHS is tempting me with these. Adding the Super Bass and Powered B. Already have the Scale PW Paint scheme. I'm a sucker for these. Other than that not much happening except work, work, more work, and oh ya work. Have a great day!

Marty,
Which LHS do you frequent? The last one I've been to recently was Bill & Walt's in White Oak.
There's a show coming up in Elizabeth , PA in a few weeks.

Had two BUSY days. 16 year old called in a hoax shooting at Rolesville HS yesterday afternoon. Been crazy since. News folks want interviews. PD Chief refused to talk to them. He will [or a PD spokesperson] will from now own. Town Manager and I agree. Unless news conference, any Town department news media will be handled by that department. Not me and not him. News conference, Mayor handles and then can refer to others.
Now for R&R.
Hi Guys,
Got these pictures today from my Step Uncle of the layout we had as kids in the attic of his dad's house. It is what started the whole thing. This would be 1965
Morning gang!
Temps about the same for next few days 89/90, but hooomidity down a bit, so a little more comfortable.
Have quite a bit going on with friends for Labor Day weekend, so may be awol next few days. As SJ laments, sort of the end of summer, just not the heat down here...it can get ugly through October...
My weight not much different from younger days, but I guess I spent too much time standing up as it shifted down to my waist
Dennis - so sorry about your dog. They are great friends!
Regards, Roy
Morning all. Looking for a little shorter day at work. Not much on the books today. Hope everyone has a safe and good weekend. Enjoy the days as they're getting shorter.

TGIF dudes......
After 2 wheelin' it for 4 days, reverted back to the Hemi Magnum.....rain and storms today, ran in from North Jersey near Newark to outside of Philly.....and heavy rain off and on. 1 clown thought running at warp speed was a good idea, he survived, his older Honda Accord, not so much, 4 flats and beat up the body just south of NJTP Exit 6...evidently spun and hit the guard rail ala NASCAR......
Off to Bethlehem for my car club meet, hope it don't rain, I hate driving the roadrunner in the rain....Big and Littles with wet pavement don't mix. Looking forward to being immersed in High Horsepower Moparsfor the weekend.
Lots of overtime during the course of the month which is good, 4th busiest shop on the East Coast and missed 3rd by 1.
Roar to the Shore next weekend or the Fun Run at the North Penn O gaugers, not sure which I'll be doing just yet........Sept 8th, the 9th I'm supposed to go to NYC for the police escorted 9/11 run and tribute run on the bike.
9/11 I'll be going to Jersey City and Hoboken for the tribute lights and the Tear memorials. I will be a long day, running again from outside Philly to essentially NYC.
nice to see MartyE posting again....welcome back!!
Fife - sounds like a good time
Brent _ Nice movement on the house!
Dennis - sorry on the pooch
Kev - 63 and 180, 18 I was 175......Just sayin'......
OK gotta get back to it, super slow yesterday, I'm sure end of month today will make up for that....

MartyE Rain came. Was supposed to cool off but still is sticky and hot. Maybe later. I see Eric from Eric's Trains will be doing some reviews for CTT. That's a win. Eric is good at that stuff. Have a good day gents. Lion where in general in Pittsburgh are you located. I'm not sure any area is safe from theft when tools are in the mix.

All I did was eat and sleep Wednesday night. As happy as I was Tuesday night with the boys' team was as sad as I was Thursday night with the girls' team. They looked absolutely pathetic in a 3-0 loss of a definitely winnable game. I talked to the coaches after the game and they said there was improvements, but I think you needed a magnifying glass to see them. It was so bad I stopped cheering in the second half. Triple ugh. Work was interesting today. Nice weather for walk. I hope everyone has a good day.
Fair day today. Cool so I did the clean up on that down dead 10" Diameter Ash tree, cut and split some more wood from the pile, cut the grass in front and around the shed, stained the mail box support and now it is beer time.
Happy birthday to your wife Banks, when were you 120#?? I was 126# when I went to work for Cat @ 20 years old,,, now 194 # @ 66 years old.
Busy day. HOAX call to HS this afternoon made an interesting afternoon.
Happy birthday Mr.s Banks.
wrmcclellan Brent - congrats on getting the Pitt house issue off dead center!!!

Hello there, crashed last night before posting.
Thanks for the comments on the race. Mrs tongue in cheek asked how I'd do if I still weighed 120 pounds as I did back then.
Spent the last couple of days farming. Two more fields and hay will be done. Oats was destoyed by too much rain but a bunch of weeds sprouted. Gonna cut and bale them to get rid of them before they go to seed.
Mrs and I enjoyed a night out last evening to celebrate her 62nd Bday
best get on with the day.
Prayers for those in need
Sun and 70s today then slowly rising into the 80s day by day, no rain. The lawn looks like straw. Roy I feel sad that summer is over so soon. I hate those six week winter months.
Our D3R club has hit a double. Two members have had articles published recently. Norm C. in OGR and Bob Shaw's Moonglow RR in CTT. The Moonglow pics were taken by our club member and CTT forum member Charlie.
Surgery on my right hand tomorrow means I'll be doing things left handed for awhile...

Morning folks!
Another typ warm/hot August day!
Boat is stored for the season. All cleaned up, covered, and in the garage. Will pull the wacerunners Mon afternoon. Sigh - big part of summer comes to a close...
Fife, Chief - glad you guys had fun at your respective friends events! Chicken gizzards, fried, yum!
Ray - great to hear from you!
Mornin' boys. Sunny & 68 along the Patterson Creek cut-off; later. Wifey and I had a fun evening with our engineer and his Mrs at their home. He has a huge man-cave bar, that is filled to the brim with Beano trains (all scales) and railroadiana. After a couple , he uncovered his marimba, and we jammed with him on the bones, and me on the uke. It was a good time.
Hello everyone, just checking in. I have been doing physical therapy for the last two weeks for arthritis in my knees. Will see the orthopaedic doctor tomorrow. I have made some progress but it is slow. Been eating out with friends a lot lately. Went to Chile's, a local bar and restaurant. Had something called Marguerita chicken. It was pretty good with three nice slices of chicken breast in some kind of sauce atop some tortilla chips finely cut and black beans. They must have slipped a chile pepper in there because it was hot! The dish was good though and I cleaned my plate. Tried running some trains a couple of days this week but still too hot in the garage. See you later,
Ray

Howdy. Been down east for lunch. Hunting thingy. Then back to Charter School that had some car pool problems yesterday. Hard headed parents that didn't follow rules. They got calls from Principal last night. All went well today.
Now to cool off at office at Town Hall.
Hope all OK.
Almost all gone....

Mornin' FellasWell finally some movement on the Pittsburgh house project! Hope to have it started next week, and finished the week after, maybe the week after that at the latest... depends on if I have to go up to do work. As soon as that is done, the house goes on the market!Banks - nice run! The bike still has some get-up-and-go!Not sure I'll be able to make York in October... got a lot going on and may need to use the vacation day for something a little more productive.
Another warm hoomid day and 90...
Got the boat outta the water yesterday and prepped for the mechanic today to winterize it. It was nice and flat on the water last night so ms and I took a 2 hour waverunner ride. Nice!
Marty - those Lionel berks are really nice runners and fun to watch!
MikeC - congrats on the boys win!
Dennis - good luck on finding a new dog. We miss our pup, but traveling a bit, it is so expensive in Dallas area to board a dog, so we enjoy our daughters dog occasionally when we need a "fix".
More of the same today. Same weather, 24 hours later. Looks like some relief tomorrow.
Thought I'd share this purchase from last week. Always wanted it and finally got one.
A long long long dry spell came to an end tonight. "My" soccer boys finally won a game 4-2. First win since 2013, which now that I think about it was the last year AJ's team won a race. Hmmm. Any way, the boys played their hearts out and were richly rewarded. Work was busy and the weather was hot. I hope everyone has a good day.
