Good evening all,
Forgot to post Thursday. It was a good day at work and a good day for a walk. Wife and I stayed home to watch a movie. Went to Lafayette today to see an art museum. Pretty impressive. Also wanted to stop in at Hawkins Rail, but it was not open. I might check over on the MR side to see if anyone knows the status of the store. Had a nice drive in the Encore as we spent most of the trip figuring out how most of the buttons work. Some sad news. Older daughter's in-laws were in a car wreck today. Do not know details but appears her father-in-law was the more seriously hurt. Not been a good situation for them the past few months. I hope everyone has a good day.
Keep on training,

Evening all!
High today was at 1 am. Temps dropped all day and to hit low 40's tonight. 50's/60's tomorrow, Sun.
Don - sorry about the shelves and glad the damage was not too bad.
Mike C - prayers for the in-laws.
Kev - sorry about Milo the cat.
Bob - sounds like a fun time. I assume you got the trolley bodies moved without incident.
Regards, Roy
Mornin' boys. Rain and 57 along the Patterson Creek cut-off. Sending our Shake-n-bake weather east now, so it may take a few days before it lands back in the Golden State.
Wifey and I took a drive yesterday (83 degrees and sunny) westbound on the old National Road (40). Discovered a good looking steakhouse outside of Frostburg, and the scenery is pretty around Grantsville. Returned back home and started planning on the spring planting. Pizza for dinner, and the closest Little Ceasars is in South Cumberland (10 min drive). What's great about it, is that it is situated at the north end of the railyard, and trains are constantly moving through there, so makes the wait go quickly.
dbaker48 On a lighter note Chris is going to be making a raid on NC next week. He will be spending a week at Fort Bragg doing soil core sampling in the housing area. He is looking forward to it.

We will welcome him with open arms. See he is NOT a Yankee.
Went to the farms yesterday. High was 77 degrees. Unbeliveable for February. Left home at 8 AM in short sleeves. 70 degrees right now. Front coming through and temps to drop to seasonal for this time of the year. Only two days though. Back up next week.
Hope all are OK.

The long struggle for my wife Helen is over. She passed away on the evening of 2-22-17 at the memory care facility where she has been since April. She was recouperating from hip surgery following a fall and seemed to be making progress. However, when the nurse checked on her at 10:30PM she had stopped breathing and they were unable to revive her. Her funeral mass is scheduled for March 8th at our local parish church. That was the first date available.

Morning all!
38 this morning and 54 for a high. 64 for a high tomorrow. About 10 degrees less than predicted. No 80's next week. Front was stronger than originally predicted.
No NASCAR for me today. FS1 is not part of my current package. Cable companies do that on purpose to make you pay more to get all NASCAR races. Guess what, as the Wall Street Journal reported last week on rapidly declining NASCAR fan base, I - and probably like many others - will not upgrade for that. NASCAR hurting themselves with stupidity and ridiculously high prices.
Oh my Lord Ray. Our posts crossed.
Our heartfelt prayers for you and your family in this difficult time.
God Bless you and you family Ray.
