Doug, I picked up another speaker and will try that first before sending the unit to Atlas. Just havn't found the time to install the speaker, maybe the next rainy day, if it will ever rain again.

Some time back I embarked on a restoration project for a Flyer "Sam the Signalman". I have finally finished. I had to replace the base of the signal mast, and rebuild the internal mechanism that works the signal flag. Here's the refurbished unit.
