Some time back I embarked on a restoration project for a Flyer "Sam the Signalman".  I have finally finished.  I had to replace the base of the signal mast, and rebuild the internal mechanism that works the signal flag.  Here's the refurbished unit.

And here's Sam!

I have figured out what is wrong with my brain!  On the left side nothing works right, and on the right side there is nothing left!

Stebbycentral.....

I am not an American Flyer operator, but I think you did a great job on that signal accessory.

Some old photos from my layout:

The barber shop interior is simply a scene printed on card stock and illuminated from behind.

Delaware & Hudson Day at the museum for me on Friday.

Lionmaster Challenger with a long string of woodside reefers,

A pair of C-420's with a long string of mixed freight,

Bill, How'd you make out on the repair of your Atlas F series engine ?

Doug, I picked up another speaker and will try that first before sending the unit to Atlas. Just havn't found the time to install the speaker, maybe the next rainy day, if it will ever rain again.
