Along with offering the new Super Streets, now E-Z Streets by Bachmann/Williams, there is a new handcar for sale, not much info on it either, like if it is forward only or has reverse feature.

Still see the N5C caboose as the only version of a caboose to be offered by Williams. The remote control feature by Williams will most likely remain a special uncoupling track needed, as Williams is not into high tech electronics-just quality trains.

Somebody who writes for Classic Toy Trains will have to do some investigation to see if the remote controls for the operating cars will still be used for these cars, because the price seems high for a car that does not have the remote included.

They have included SuperStreets in the catalog if somebody is looking for the sections.

I have two of the remote control operating cars and they are still working fine.  However, other folks have reported problems with them.

I am wondering what happened to operating car's remote control feature that was listed in the final few years of the K-Line catalogs.

The Williams traditional line now includes several former K-Line operating cars.

My K-Line operating cars can be operated anywhere on the layout using a special remote control.  The Williams operating cars appear to require an uncoupling magnet to activate the dump feature.

Yep, good to see the K-Line operating cars are coming back. Hopefully the 21 inch passenger cars will also be resurrected.

The Williams traditional line now includes serveral former K-Line opearating cars.

The listed prices of the operating cars are now realistic with the new limited production of the cars and the quality control issues.

I was disappointed in the latest Williams catalog because it appears that the number of items in the 'Golden Memories' section is declining.  The 'Golden Memory' entries are my favorites.

Link to the new Williams by Bachmann catalog. Prices seem higher but usually there is room for large discounts by the dealers. Amtrak phase 5 Genesis is in the catalog.
