Although I might be a tad biased I'd say the best place to get information about prewar Flyer on the internet is the very long thread right here on this forum -

Pre War American Flyer Pictures - An Invitation - Index page 1 & 44

http://cs.trains.com/TRCCS/forums/t/116423.aspx

Northwoods Flyer started it a few years ago and it covers a very large part of the pre-war Flyer offerings.

As for the value, I couldn't say.  You might try checking e-bay from time-to-time and bookmarking auctions with similar items and see how they do.

The set dates from 1933 - 1934.  It's a variation of the Paul Revere/Yellowstone sets-the variation being the locomotive.  The one pictured is the lower priced version.

The link to your photo isn't working.  Try posting again, or give a description of the items.
