IF IT WON'T COME LOOSE BY TAPPING ON IT, DON'T TRY TO FORCE IT. USE A BIGGER HAMMER.
Thanks, Bob. I haven't been on a Trains forum in some time and I now cannot find how to search the posts.

I wrote an article about this for the September, 2008, CTT.

I don't know about articles, you can do a search of the forum and one of the back issues of CTT. If its a direct replacement of standard bulbs there are LED's sold that look like a regular bulb and screw, or lock, into a standard bulb socket. There are a couple of companies selling these that advertise in CTT, usually the smaller ads toward the back. One thing though they give a "bluer" light than a normal bulb.
have there been any articles on installing LED lights on AC powered toy trains?
