Re installing truck springs is always a tricky task. I like to take a small straight bladed screwdriver and stick it into the side of the spring, then gently get one end in place. Compress the spring and guide the other end in then carefully remove the screwdriver. You should do this in a confined space, because if you slip, the spring can fly away.

Bought 8 Pennsy RR K-like box cars on Ebay. 2 of the 6 came with little springs above the wheels missing or fallen off and in packaging.

I'm unhandy, what's a relatively easy way to reinstall or avoid having to do so, yet keep the wheels on these things?
