Hmm, I posted that his birthday was yesterday, 127th anniversary thereof.

Mine came from Arcamax "History & Quotes", did they (I) get it wrong or.......?

I will stand (or sit) corrected if someone can post the actual date.

No matter, he has brought a lot of joy and happiness to a lot of people!

Being Crazy, keeps you from going "INSANE" !! "The light at the end of the tunnel, has been turned off due to budget cuts" NOT AFRAID A Vet., and PROUD OF IT!!

According to Wikipedia, he was born in 1877 but often gave 1880.  However, according to the Social Security Administration, he was born in 1878.  They both agree on August 25.

By the way, his social security number was 109-03-7241.  Perhaps someone can work that into his layout.

My old K-line catolog that was given to me says he was born August 25, 1877, but I guess the Social security year of 1878 is probably the correct year.
