jefelectric,
The tender on that L&NE L1 steam loco has an interesting feature that I have not seen before on steam loco's, a box on the back of the tender, guess it was used in cold or rainy weather.

Jon,
Your work is first rate. I'll send you an email. Later this year I may visit Ft Eustis to do research within the Transportation museum there.
Ah, Ft. Eustis, VA. Did some training there. They have a nice display of trains, planes, vehicles, ect... as soon as you enter the gates. I also saw a loco sitting on a lonesome siding on one of my road marches that had seen better days.
Kurt, I'm pretty sure those lights were made by MTH.
FJ&G: If you're kind enough to credit me with the photos and autograph my copy of your book that I would love to purchase- then Yes!!!!
If you go to my "other" forum I hang out you can go to the Members Photos section and pick what you need. Or I can email them to you.
Here's a couple for fun:
Jon, great photos as usual. Can you tell me who makes the street lights?

This was very hard to find as they were only made in 1996. I was lucky enough to find one that had never been opened and for a decent price! Now to get it on some track to make sure works!
nice pics guys keep up the good work.

Construction photos from my weekend project--- track elevation, tunnel portals, clearance testing for the trains and equipment...
As always, great pictures everyone. I dismantled my layout to move it to its permanent place in the basement. I hope to finish it over Labor Day. Anyway, here it is just before I started taking it down.
