Menards update 09/27

Menards has launched a series of three-dimensional MDS wood railroad logos. Representing Western lines are the nos. 279-3766 Union Pacific and the 279-3764 Santa Fe from $9.99 each.

Received a box of goodies from Menards last week ... I still have two items that have not been announced yet, but here are some nifty products that are available now! Six railroad herald and two new 1:48 die-cast box trucks. The trucks are for Jack Links and Penske Rentals. Go to www.Menards.com/trains for more information.

Midwestern roads are represented by the no. 279-3763 Milwaukee Road and 279-3765 Chicago & North Western for $9.99 each.

East coast roads are the nos. 279-3762 New York Central and the 279-3761 Pennsylvania Railroad for $9.99 each.

All the heralds are on the same size card. The Santa Fe logo is the largest, measuring 5 inches in width.

Two new 1:48 scale box trucks have been added to the Menards vehicle fleet. Making a delivery at the local Red Owl is the no. 279-4214 Jack Links delivery truck and making a pickup at J.R. Watkins is a Penske rental truck. The trucks cost $9.99 each.
