MTH BL2 diesel on the test track

The MTH BL-2 comes in Boston & Maine, Chesapeake & Ohio, Chicago & Eastern Illinois, Florida East Coast, Rock Island, Western Maryland road names.

One of the most unusual diesels to come out of EMD was the BL-2 diesel. Designated a branch line (Hence the BL) locomotive, The styling was "postwar graceful," and while the locomotive never caught on, some were operated into the 1980s. The model features two can-style motors, the ProtoSound 3.0 command and sound system, coil couplers, and a smoke unit.

The model may look odd, but it has an angled design for better crew visibility.
