New die-cast metal ONLINE-ONLY construction gear from Menards

Here are there of the new Menards die-cast construction vehicles posed with a Menards depot for a size reference.

I received a box from Menards yesterday with three of their new die-cast metal construction vehicles in it. They are the nos. 279-3920 Mega Crane for $39.99, the 279-3931 Forklift loader for $29.99 and the 279-3927 Crawler excavator for $19.99. These are online only they won't be in stores, and they are available now. So get over to www.menards.com to check them out. 

The Menards vehicles all have implements you can pose. The Mega Crane boom folds for road transportation.

A pair of 1:48 Arttista figures illustrate how close the models are for use on O gauge layouts.

You can rotate the cab and raise and lower the boom.

We've posed some Arttista and Scenic Express figures with them for a size reference. If not 1:48, they are pretty darned close (in the 1:50 to 1:55 range I'd guess).

The forklift loader has a posable arm and pivots in the middle of the body. The tines are adjustable (so you can use whatever O scale pallets you have at hand). It comes with a large black pallet.

The vehicle is modern looking down to the tinted cab windows.
