F40PH in Amtrak/CSX in the new Lionel catalog

The latest diesel added to the Lionel product line is the Amtrak F40PH diesel. The locomotive will be offered in several Amtrak paint schemes and will feature cab number specific detailing.

A new arrival to the Lionel lineup is the F40PH diesel. Lionel will be offering the locomotive in three Amtrak paint schemes as well as in the CSX Business Train livery. The Amtrak version will also include the cab/baggage car combination control unit with the side baggage door.

 Amtrak F40PH units will have road number specific detailing, as well as Legacy command and sound systems. The units will be offered in Amtrak Phase I, Phase II and Phase III paint schemes with livery specific detailing for $549.99 each.

 Unpoawered Phase III unpowered cab/baggage units feature, These diesels have a non-opening side baggage door, cab/baggage unit specific detailing, accurate lighting and Legacy RailSounds for $399.99.

 All F40PH models require O-54 or wider curves.

 The F40PH is also offered in CSX colors to accompany the CXS business s train set. Two CSX locomotives will be available for $549 each Matching car sets include a two-pack with the cars Kentucky and Mississippi for $299.99, a four-car pack with cars Michigan, Tennessee, Youngstown, and Tech Research for $599.99, and a StationSounds dining car for $299.99.
