Dallas-Houston High Speed Rail Update (Texas Central)

Apparently now a shell company with a very small staff who has problems responding to the press or answering the phone.    Report reads pretty good as a  summary........not sure how accurate it is.

Don't know about the analysis.  Just a shame it crashed.  Don't expect I'll see HSR of Bullet Train quality in the US in my lifetime.  Maybe Brightline can pick up some of the pieces. It seems ludicrous to me that travel between Dallas/Ft. Worth and Houston would not support a well-run train service.  Likewise the the whole Triangle.

Well the North Texas Council of Governments sent a letter to the Federal DOT of support for the Heartland Flyer extension and stated it sees the Kansas City - Oklahoma City - Fort Worth - Waco - Austin - San Antonio - Laredo as a High Speed Rail Corridor but I can tell you there is no way that Elephant is going to dance in Texas being that long.
