Horrors a weekday NYP arrival list from train orders.  What a difference a slightly less freight traffic makes ?

The March 9th results for Chicago, as well as the previous post, probably are atypical.

In 2015 the long distance trains, on average, had an on-time arrival at their end points of 53.7 per cent.  The average on-time arrival at their intermediate stations was 43.2 per cent.
