Dreamstar Lines

Ok, so in between the rain storms, can someone from California comment on this effort?   I find it suspicious this close to start up they do not have a decent website open yet.    They are supposed to start in Summer of 2024.    Also the website landing page below is rather flat and unimaginative as far as marketing effort.   I can see they are sponging off the former NYC flagship service, which is also a high bar to meet.    So I am leaning toward this is all a giant tease and nothing will happen.

Wonder if it was found difficult to find revenue cars?  Getting any cars with retention tanks where? HEP?  Also, getting locos might be very difficult?  Amtrak locos and / or T&E?  Highly unlikely!

10 months to forge agreements with two railroads and multiple local gov'ts?

Ambitious.

It's been fun.  But it isn't much fun anymore.   Signing off for now.

The opinions expressed here represent my own and not those of my employer, any other railroad, company, or person.t fun any
