This Philadelphia Subway incident was widely reported on national news, but NewsWire didn't pick it up. Perhaps because of the sensitive subject of a sexual assault, or the fact that fellow passengers didn't try to intervene, made it that much more horrendous. However, I think ignoring the story makes us more detached, and perhaps hesitant like the passengers on that train. Luckily an off-duty SEPTA worker at a passing station notified transit police.
