Some of the reasons for the Toronto delays seem vaguely famaliar ? Could it be same reasons ofr CAF delays ? With all the cars sitting around CAF we may wonder if there are parts delays and / or parts that will not fit ?

Quite a story. How can you trust a manufacturer that fails to perfom and can't seem to get its act together? Courts don't like contractual penaties for non performance. When one sees how Siemans has met their dates for Brightline and the Hispeed Amtrak locomotives, it seems that the low cost bidder may not be desired because of issues like these.
The Star had 2 more parts to the story, if you can find them.
It's hard to believe that the company who has supplied effectively all TTC's rail vehicles since the 1970s is doing so badly.

Wow! I'm impressed with the reporting. You just don't read that type of detail analysis in an American publication anymore.
If I were Siemens, I'd include a reprint in every proposal for a new transit vehicle.
