Looks like the 80 series have found Brazil as their new home to operate. Interesting modifications to their units. Check out this 80ACe directly below testing on MRS

I would assume that these are working on the broad gauge (5'3") lines.  Anything on the meter gauge would probably have eight motors.

The daily commute is part of everyday life but I get two rides a day out of it. Paul

Yeah these are for the 1600mm lines. Progress builds a BB 70ACe for the NG lines. No 80 is offered I believe.
