Does anyone know anything about PRR FA-1s or know a site that has info about them? Just basic stuff like when they were used and what kind of jobs they did.

Built 1948 7 A units and 7 B units.  Fa2 24A, 24B units.  All the pictures I have show them from Pittsburgh and east. Looks like they roamed system wide for the most part. Don't knw the exact date but all were gone by 1968.  Basically a pretty rare engine on the PRR when you conside GP9s were in excess of 300 units.  They were used in general freight service.  One picture shows an ABB lashup as a pusher out of Pitcairn.
