Well Wayne, I'm glad you are enjoying Virginia. It is a beautiful state.
Like all places New Jersey has good points and bad points. You mention some of the good ones. A lot of people move south when they retire. I know several who have. My wife and I stay here to be close to our children and grandchildren. But anyone who is retired is economically better off to move south of here. Anywhere south is less expensive than New Jersey. And a lot of people do for just that reason.
