28 ton railcar

G'day, Y'all,
Is there a modern railcar which weighs 56,000 lbs. or thereabouts. We don't have any tracks here in Forsyth County so I can't just go anywhere and look at cars.

If you're referring to the light weight, there are plenty of modern freight cars that weigh either less or more than 56,000 pounds.  Your modern aluminum coal gons weigh in at around 45,000.  You can get tank cars weighing close to 50 tons empty.  I haven't looked at precise weights for a given group of cars, but, with a little hint at what you're driving at, I might be able to help out further.
