John W. Barriger III National Railroad Library NEEDS YOUR HELP!
Posted by bnsfkline on Monday, April 16, 2007 1:30 PM

I was talking with Mr. Greg Ames, the curator of the John W. Barrager III National Railroad Library located at the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

The Libarary is trying to locate as much Information and photos/video of Railroading in the the Pacific Northwest, in the states of Washington/Oregon/Idaho/Montana/Wyoming and the Dakotas.

Why you ask? The Library is putting together an Exposition dipicting how the railroads developed the area and current operations. The Exposition is scheduled for 2008.

If you would like to help, please contact me directly at bnsfkline@yahoo.com

bnsfkline:

Have you been to the Barringer Railroad Library?  I have wanted to go to such a place and get lost for a couple of days.

Is it open to the public?  What can you describe about it?

thanks,
