100 Cars early in the morning

Here is a video I shot of a Union Pacific Southbound train on 7/14 at approx 7:30 AM in White County Arkansas along the old MP/UP Main.

4 of the 6 engines were fully on-line and running hard, ahead of the train is a slight downgrade. The weather left alot to be desired with it being cold and rainy. I am still trying to shoot trains properly with the zoom and fear that I used too much.

Real world railroading - it does rain, etc.  Not bad.  I didn't see a problem with the zoom.

Certainly had the pedal to the metal....

I think it looked good. Now when you say they were running hard, were they in Dynamic brakes or in full throttle. To me they sound like there in the Dynos. Also, why were two of the locomotives not in full throttle with the rest?

Looking good. Hope to see some more in the near future.Thumbs Up [tup]

I liked the video. Very realistic. My office was shaking a little. That was a nice touch, showing your mirror. It shows you have enough sense to come in out of the rain.
