My little steam trip on 26/3/2007 (*56k hazard*)

On 26/3/2007 SRT celebrated 110th anniversary of railroading in Thailand and arranged a steam excursion. Enjoy the ride.

A light power waits for orders.

Our great grandad gets some inspection.

824's hardware.

Alsthom AD2400i gets to tie on a train.

There's some formalities to be done.

Meanwhile, we also get some press coverages.

Ready, steady...

GO!!!

Railfans gave us a roll-by.

creeping into coach yard.

RRers gets bitten by railfan bugs.

We are good to go.

An engineer can't resist "Railfan Bug" in him.

We stopped at a grade crossing interlock.

Motorists get an extreme surprise.

My old stomping ground.

Home of the SRT's Loco.

If you do live here, don't whine like CFM56-7 about the horns.

We pick up some more pax.

An absolute and a grade crossing signal.

A cement MTY meets us.

A lone railfan.

 Twosome...

And a whole bunch.

Train 75 (Bangkok-Udon Thani) race by us.

some old cars waiting for the torch.

A commuter boogies past.

Train 9 (Bangkok-Chiang Mai) races with us.

I'd like to let these speak for themself.

Another group of railfans.

Then I step off the train, have some lunch,  chat with fellow railfans and buy a ticket to bangkok on train 234 (Surin-Bangkok).

My ride has arrived.

I got on the train and snapped some more photos.

I finally arrived in Bangkok with time to spare and snapped this.

And I'd like to end my trip with this.

Please feel free to comment on my photos.
