Hi everyone I was reading in the newspaper today and it said two cars from a 86 car mixed up train derailed one of the cars tearing up roadbed and knocking down signals and crossing signs along the way the. Train got stopped right after it crossed over a signal. I beleave it started just south of oak creek and stopping just north of calideiona, Wisconsin (spelling might be off on that last one). The news paper also reported that the sheriffs department started to recive calls about 12:15 or so about train cars on fire going down the tracks. But what it was the sparks coming from the front wheels. Also a spokesman from the railroad said it m ay take up to a week to fix the rails and road bed along with the crossings that the car knocked off. Cause of the derailment are still unknown.
