BNSF Train on the UP.
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, February 3, 2007 2:00 PM
Just seconds ago I just heard on my Scanner that a BNSF5012 east "On the point" or something like that is heading east on the UP at Mo valley. I thought that UP power is only allowed on the point on the CNW Iowa line. Someone is wrong.

Between Missouri Valley and Council Bluffs is one of the exceptions to the requirement of having ATC.  Non equipped engines may operate on signal indication, not to exceed 40mph.

Probably either a train from Sioux City or maybe out of the Cargill plant at Blair going to CB.
