While driving south after 1400 Wednesday on US 41 in Turner County I came upon NS 3218 SB with a train stopped waiting for a MOW crew working on a crossing. As I proceeded south I saw lights coming toward me as I drove by double track. I stopped and waited. I heard a horn from the north and knew I was going to have a meet. The NB took the siding. It was led by TFM xxxx and NS following. It was the longer of the two trains. What is the protocol for who goes in the hole?
First time I have seen a TFM engine, sorry I didn't get the number. Also at the end of this train were four hoppers/gondolas for Florida Rock. Looked brand new.
