Christmas at Conway
Posted by Nora on Monday, December 18, 2006 11:24 PM

I took Jay (5) and Charlie (4) to Conway last weekend for the employees Christmas open house. They had a lot of fun and they both agreed that getting a turn on the locomotive simulator was the highlight. I didn't know that thing was even still down there. They also got to visit Santa and eat donuts and stuff. Hahahaha, great, sugared up kids. Anyway here are a couple pics and a link to a video.

(He has a weird look on his face because he has a chunk of candy cane in his mouth.)

I've seen those rascals somewhere before!

I wish our railroad did something similar at our equally-vital-and-probably-as-populated-with-employees yard.  Of course, there's no simulator like that around here--CNW's moved around in a "mobile home" and probably was retired by UP.  I did it a time or two, and so did one of my daughters.

I think the older one will fall into the Lady Killer group in a few more years, the grin and the eyes will attract quite a lot of attention...nice looking kids there Nora.

Hi Nora

I'll bet that is much more fun than just going over to see Santa at the mall.
