end-of-train devices

I don't think my first post went through, so let's try again.

The August 2006 issue had an article on new EOTs.  Has Norfolk Southern changed the frequency their EOTs operate on?  I haven't heard an EOT in some time.  I used to pick them up at my home near the Washington - Atlanta mainline, but now I don't even receive a signal when I'm waiting at a crossing for the train to go by.  I still get CSX EOTs, though you have to be at a crossing to pick it up.
