Train Watching in Montana

Going to Montana for the first time.  Where are some of the more picturesque locations to shoot photos?  Are there better times of the day or day of the week to be trackside?  Thanks.

Livingston is a great place to check out the Montana Rail Link.  They have some engine servicing facilities there and Livingston peak makes a great backdrop for the operations!
