Yeah, I have been looking into them for a while. In most places it is not illegal to have them, it is just illegal to use them... go figure...[(-D]

I Know I want one really bad to. I do know that some of the school buses here in wisconsin at one company anywho a couple of there buses have air horns and boy they really sound cool when they blow them.

I believe that these horns are just like the neon lighs that you can add to cars as far as the law is concerned in Wisconsin. You can have them and Use them you just can't be driving the car at the time you are using them. I do know acouple of drivers for the trucking company i work for that have gottem away with using old train horns though because the Trucks came with air horns from the factory.

That must be pretty cool to have one of those. You could drive by people, blow it all of the sudden, and startle the crap out of them. That would be both fun and humorous for the driver.

I bet the people would scream. Anyways, I'm sounding like a little 5-year-old. But it would be cool to have them.

Also, don't school buses have those types of horns? Because I think they have to in case the "dropped-off" kids nearly get plowed by a oncoming car, or the bus driver wants you back in the bus to issue you a suspension off of the bus, LOL.

trains do that to me enough... i miss the days when horns were used ONLY as warning devices...
