[xx(] Mac, I printed this out, will take it home and put it with a couple of other articles that I have on tractive effort. I need some quiet time to sit down and read this over along with the others again, so maybe someday the light will dawn and I will figure it out! One of my co-workers - female - read an article on tractive effort thru once and had it all figured out on paper. She has a degree in architecture and arts and science - and she is working on pulling address lists. Now who is the smarter one! Ok - it is another whole story - but I thank you for the information and I will go ponder it! Very carefully!

After being a seldom contributer and often spectator at this forum I am delighted to see a witty, perhaps even erudite tone to the recent topics and replies. Perhaps a hint of a new bout of urbane renewal similar to the late80s,early 90s. Bravo to all concerned and kudos to Trains on the Oct. issue re: Big Power. Very instructive!!

[:p] Mookie is in HER Funk and Wagnalls on that one. It is a compliment, I think. You should post more often - gives the place a little class!
