This gentleman continues to garner my admiration and provides the railroading and railfan community a really positive image. On the heels of his special for our Iraqi war veterans withn his PRR E-8's, I was reading the article posted below and was taken out of my typically cynical frame of mind when I read this latest special raised $20,000 for scholarships. Sounds like a recreation of Erie-Lackawana passenger serice (?) And he wants to do more...A positive note that began my day so I am passing it along.

Nothing is more fairly distributed than common sense: no one thinks he needs more of it than he already has.

Outstanding, especially in this day and age.

BTW:  Does anyone have info on his next planned trip with the E8s?

"I like my Pullman Standards & Budds in Stainless Steel flavors, thank you!"
