"Train in movie" question - "The Majestic" with Jim Carrey

One of the many movies I hadn't watched when it was released was "The Majestic" starring Jim Carrey. I had an opportunity to watch it over the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it.
The real town of Ferndale was the site for the scenes of the town of Lawson, but the scenes at the station were shot in another town. The train that Jim Carrey rode on I've found out is actually called "The Skunk Train" and is in real life, a scenic railroad that runs inland from the north coast through the redwoods.
Anyone on the west coast been on the "Skunk Train"? Some feedback of what the trip is like? [;)][:)]
