I'm modelling the southern division of the Colorado & Wyoming RR. There very little on this railroad because it was not glamorous and quit passenger service in the 30's.
I would appreciate any paperwork of the railroad, articles about the railroad or general information about the railroad. A friend told me that there is a article in the summer 1976 issue of Railfan.

Try this web site: http://www.scry.com/ayer/rail/title00 and do a search for Colorado and Wyoming railroad. This is a company that specializes in reprinting out of print books and has over 15,000 previously out of print books in publication. I did a search for railroad and it gave me over 150 titles.About 25 of those were on the underground railroad, but, the rest were amazing and rare titles. They have the History of the Nashua and Lowell Railroad by Richard K. Darr which covers the 1830-1880 period and is a large book. I know there are a number of titles about both Colorado and Wyoming so you may find a gold mine.
I am trying to get them to republish Steelways of New England by Alvin F. Harlow originally published in 1946. If anyone wants to help with this project just email me that you are interested in this book at: four_truck_shay@yahoo.com
