The National Park Service is accepting applications for a temporary Fire Tender/Mechanic Helper at Golden Spike NHS. Duties include assisting locomotive engineers fire and operate the replica steam locomotives and assist with maintenance. Employment is expected to begin 30 April 2006 and last through mid-September 2006.
