Agnews (Santa Clara) CA Depot?

This question goes out to Bay Area railfans. Driving down Lafayette Street in Santa Clara, I passed a green structure labeled "AGNEWS." What is the history of this facility? Was it a passenger depot? Freight? Who is mantaining it? I see that it is lit at night and seems to be in relatively good repair. Is UP using for MOW or does some private group own it?
