I got an e-mail this morning stateing that BNSF is gona close the GAPS between sideings by installing Double Track on the Creston line which is between West Cullom all the way to Ashland,Nebraska. Can anyone from the BNSF conferrm this? This will be a first. Because there are currently 4 passing sideings on the Creston line from Plattsmouth to Ashland. The first sideing is at Plattsmouth to Oreapolis. The second is from East Cullom to West Cullom. The third is at Louisville. And the Fourth is at South Bend just on the West side of what use to be the Rock Island Main. Anyways,As I understand it. The BNSF just removed a MofW Track at the West Switch at West Oreapolis. Since that Track is now all but gone,My thinking is that the BNSF just might Double Track off from Main 2 at Oreapolis all the way to Ashland. I could be wrong too. Allan.
