I was flipping through my 5/03 TRAINS mag. and I happened to run across a little something on pages 66-67 that I think all of us rail(and non rail) buffs should read. It was litteraly the biggest, and loudest freaking (No pun intended) X-ing sign that Ive ever seen. Equiped with the following; An air raid siren (for all of those who are hard of hearing), BRIGHT neon lights that said STOP-DEATH-STOP, an neon arrow to show the direction of the train( for the visualy impaired),later I-C added an more moderen 2 red flashing lights just below the skull & bones (for the more seriously vision impaired)....And no Im not drunk or making this up! Its freaky but wow its something that would be a great add on to any problem X-ng. Im considering possibly trying to build a model of it for my own trains. In all seriousness; It WORKED and if you got hit on this X-ing then your just either comatose..or a freaking moron!
Its worth the $5 for this photo alone!!!!
Icemanmike-Milwaukee
LOOK-LISTEN-LIVE aka STOP-DEATH-STOP
